What Hive is to me
To hive in another meaning simply is to live together. Bees have for a long demonstrated this ability of working in unity to create a favourable shelter that would accommodate them as well as ensure their longevity and they are ready to defend their territory against any intruder. I thus liken our community to the bees. They are always industrious and innovative. Now when we want to channel our discussion to blockchain technology, then we would simply define it below:
Since the advent of HIVE, I have always had a good feeling about the good tidings that it will likely come along with. I am an ardent advocator of freedom of speech and total de-centralization.
An advocator for a community that is free from dictatorship, a community where the power belongs to the very individuals that make up such community. A community where you are at liberty to air your view without fear if equivocation and threats. A community free form censorship and with defined and clear vision of where it is headed.
These definitions perfectly suit HIVE. Hive means all those definitions to me and I believe more than that. Hive to me is an avenue to grow and rub minds with a great number of community members that share vision of growth and longevity. As they would always say, in unity, success and growth is attained faster.
Hive means another opportunity for me to explorer and learn more about what it means to have prospects for growth. It means another chance for redemption, another's opportunity to improve and fully exploit the vast opportunity that comes with it and as well impact on others. Hive is another opportunity for me to preach the most important gospel of about blockchain technology, which is de-centralization.
A lot of person have lost hope in the Independence of blockchain and crypto currency but I with the structure and vision about Hive, they would see reason to have hope and faith once again in the system, since they are now able to freely air and contribute without any fear. Power belongs to the people!
What I want to see HIVE evolve into
What determines that an organization or a system is growing is dynamism and innovation. I want to HIVE evolve to become the world most sort after blockchain social platform. I want HIVE to evolve and become the standard and yardstick when making comparison with other blockchain technology.
It is of no doubt that HIVE is made up of most of the best and most talented developers the world has got to offer and I believe with their collective ingenious ideas an thoughts, they will take HIVE to the pinnacle of greatness. Most persons have so far made some statements like
"Its hard and very difficult for a forked blockchain to be better than its parents blockchain"
Well the results now speak for itself, looking at the current price of HIVE, it's already higher than its parent blockchain and it only gets better as times goes on. I really would love to see HIVE evolve to become a social blockchain platform that will shake the entire universe and force them to reckon with the possibility that abounds with blockchain.
I really would and sincerely love HIVE to remain decentralized because this is the foundation upon which members remain in a platform. Once you take away that freedom of speech and expression, you are automatically set for doom. The community members are the core and heart beat of any system. Without them, there is no community.
What do I think about having a large funded DAO for future HIVE development?
For clearity, DAO means decentralized autonomous organization and it is a system that is always represented by rules which are encoded as computers program is basically transparent and also controlled by the shareholders. That key word de-centralized says a lot about any organization that wants to remain sincere, transparent and honest and DAO are not influenced by the powers that be - the central government.
The word autonomous speaks for itself, a community or organization that is free frok external influencers or or greater influencers that have the power to effect a change that could negatively affect the organization.
Having such a well funded organization will not only fast track the growth and development of HIVE in the future, it will as well propel it to attain greatness in no time.
Normally , the DAO is activated once its smart contract has been deployed on the blockchain technology. They have two basic function which is to carry out or execute decisions through proposals and voting system and secondly is to manage token account creation and transfer while managing the internal working structure of itself.
It is already an established fact that a DAO always leads to more and perfect decentralized system and this always the yearn of most members. So it is good step to the right direction. Though DAO comes with some challenges and one of which is the inability to easily consider a proposal due to the participation of shareholders, one problem bitshares has experienced.
But this I believe is solvable problem as long as the community is in unity and fully understand the benefit that is attached to new developments, innovation and ideas. Having a fully funded DAO will also improve the security of the system because the code of a DAO is already up and running is very difficult to hack.
The community members get to decider which project they feel will be beneficial and they are able to willingly decide whether to support or not to support the proposal but like I said above, a system the community trust and have faith in will definitely. Once the shareholders see the what will benefit them and the community at large, definitely they would want to vote for progress and development.
What ever will add value to the system is always sort after and it is only a pessimist that will see good thing and call it evil. Once value is place on a system, there is high chance of development and progress. Having the DAO will also remove the need for any third party involvement in financial transactions. So why not, let's rock and roll, it sure a good thing.
Hive to me
Hive to me is the sure way to a sure and secured future and advancement in blockchain complete decentralization. Hive to me rocks and I am sure to follow it till the end. Hive to me will break barriers and will exhume the hidden potentials that are salient in expression.
The world at large needs more of this kind of decentralized and autonomous system. System free from interference, and I will say again is a system that in which the power belongs to the people. A true democratic system. Hive to me is the way and sure way to financial independency, free social interaction and democracy. Hive to me is the place to be, a non censored system free from intrusions.
Hive to me is the best gift to man and the world at large. What are you waiting for , join the moving train and hive on. We are heading to the cannanland, the land filled with milk and honey- the promised land!
